What is it?
Exosomes carry the signals that tell skin cells to repair. Applied after micro channelling or alongside other treatments, they calm redness, speed up recovery and improve the overall quality of skin that has been through a lot.
This is the treatment for skin that looks dull because it is damaged, rather than because it is dehydrated. If your dullness is simply dryness, we will say so and start you somewhere cheaper.

What we use
Exosome ASCE+, applied with microneedling or after a laser, depending on your skin.
What is normal afterwards
- Redness like mild sunburn for a few hours to a day.
- Pinpoint bleeding and mild swelling if microneedling is used.
- Dryness or light flaking for two to three days afterwards.
- A tight feeling on the evening of treatment.
Less common risks
- A breakout in the days afterwards, particularly on acne prone skin.
- Infection if the skin is not kept clean while the channels close.
- Temporary darkening of the skin, more likely if you go into the sun too soon.
- A cold sore flare if you are prone to them.
Tell us, or wait, if any of these apply
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- You have an active acne flare, cold sore or any skin infection in the area.
- You have taken isotretinoin (Roaccutane) in the last six months. Tell the doctor.
- You form keloid scars easily.
- You have an active autoimmune condition.
Before your appointment
- Stop retinoids, acids and scrubs three to five days beforehand.
- No sunbathing or sunburn in the week before.
- Tell us if you get cold sores.
Afterwards
- No make up for 12 to 24 hours if microneedling was used.
- Wash with lukewarm water and a plain cleanser only for two days.
- No sauna, steam, swimming or gym for 48 hours.
- SPF 50 every day. This is the step that protects the result.
- Do not pick at flaking skin.
Call us straight away if
- Spreading redness, swelling, pus or fever.
- Blistering or crusting.
- Pain that increases after the first day instead of settling.
