What is it?
The diode laser targets the pigment in the hair and heats the follicle enough to slow it down. Hair grows in cycles, so each session catches the follicles that happen to be active at that moment, which is why a course works and a single session cannot.
Your hair colour and skin tone decide the settings, so the first session starts conservatively and we build the energy up from there. It is safe for all skin types, but the plan is not the same for everyone.

Good to know
Do not wax or pluck the area between sessions, because the laser needs the root in place. Shaving is fine. Avoid strong sun on the treated area for a few days afterwards.
